Since this this photo was taken last week, winter has snapped her fingers ordering the leaves off of trees and nighttime temperatures below freezing. Winter birds are now flocking in earnest and I’m just a few hours of work away from completing preparations for my first set of flock member playback experiments. I’ve never been so excited to spend hours in the cold. 🍁🍂✨
